The west Belfast community are invited to attend the switching on of the Christmas tree lights at the former Andersonstown barracks site on Thursday, 11 December.
At 7pm that evening, a Christmas procession will leave from the gates of the Falls Park and proceed to the barracks site. Read full details

A public meeting aimed at providing advice and guidance to those who are facing financial difficulties or have worries about the current economic climate will take place in An Chulturlann on Tuesday 9 December at 7pm.
The event, organised by West Belfast Sinn Fein, will feature contributions from Eleanor Gill from the Consumer Council and Sinn Fein MLA Jennifer McCann. Read full details

You are invited to attend the switching on of the lights of a Christmas tree at Connolly House on Monday 8 December at 6pm in support of Ballymurphy republican Pol Brennan.
Pol is currently in prison in the United States and is fighting attempts by the immigration authorities to deport him.
Messages of support for Pol will be attached to the Christmas tree. Read full details

A booklet, containing a final interview with IRA leader Brian Keenan and orations given in south Armagh and west Belfast, will be launched in the Roddy McCorley club on the Glen Road on Wednesday 3 December at 7pm.
The speakers at the launch will be west Belfast MP Gerry Adams and south Armagh Sinn Fein leader Sean Hughes. Read full details

The 4 Martyrs Commemoration night will take place in the Andersonstown Social Club (PD) on the evening of Friday 28 November 2008.
The event has been organised by the Andersonstown Martyrs Commemoration Committee and will begin at 8pm.
After the proceedings take place there will be live music with Andrea Rice followed by Paddy O's disco.
This is an extremely popular event and people are advised to come early to avoid disappointment. Read full details

The annual Colin area commemoration will take place in the Andersonstown social club (PD) on Saturday, November 15, at 8pm.
The Bobby Sands freedom award will also be presented on the night.
