O'Broin launches new book in West Belfast

Eoin O'Broin launched his new book, Sinn Fein and the Politics of Left Republicanism, at St Mary's College, Falls Road on Wednesday 18 February 2009.

Mr O'Broin is a former Sinn Fein councillor in Belfast and has also worked in the office of West Belfast woman and Sinn Fein MEP, Bairbre de Brun.

At present Mr O'Broin is the Sinn Fein representative for the Dun Laoghire area on the outskirts of Dublin.

Speaking at the launch was Sinn Fein Mayor of Belfast Tom Hartley.

Also speaking was Dr Laurence Mc Keown, an ex H-Block prisoner and hunger striker, Professor Richard English, and Roger Van Zwanenberg from Pluto, the publishers of O'Broins book.
