Sinn Féin President and west Belfast MP Gerry Adams has sent his warmest congratulations to the players, backroom staff and supporters of Saint Galls GAA Club, on their momentous win in the All-Ireland Club Finals at Croke Park today.

Speaking from Washington, where he is attending Saint Patrick's Day celebrations at the White House, Mr Adams said;

"Seolaim comhghairdeas ón chroí d'achan duine ag Naomh Gall ar an lá stairiúl seo.

The Saint Galls team, player and volunteers, have done west Belfast, Belfast and Antrim Gaels proud. Their commitment, determination and dedication has been inspiring and this victory is well and truly deserved. I look forward to celebrating with them very soon.
