On Tuesday June 15, the Saville Report into the massacre of unarmed civil rights protesters in Derry 38 years ago will finally be published. Thousands of people are expected to gather in Derry for the report's publication. Speaking on Saturday June 12, Sinn Féin President and West Belfast MP Gerry Adams said: "The families of those murdered on Bloody Sunday have fought a long and difficult campaign for the truth about the events in Derry 38 years ago.
"On Tuesday the Saville Report needs to bin Widgery and deliver justice for the Bloody Sunday families." |
